A case of deception

That night........

Kashish found herself trapped in a lavish room, surrounded by opulent furnishings and dimly lit chandeliers. The air was thick with the scent of expensive perfume and cigar smoke.

As she struggled to move, she realized that her feet felt heavy, as if rooted to the spot. A sense of dread crept over her, and she tried to scream, but her voice was muffled by some unseen force.

A figure emerged from the shadows, tall and imposing. He was dressed in a tailored suit, his face hidden behind a veil of darkness.

The figure spoke in a low, husky voice, sending shivers down Kashish's spine. "You want to leave this place?" he asked, his tone dripping with malice. "You are mine now."

Kashish tried to resist, but her body felt paralyzed. The figure began to move closer, its presence suffocating her.

Kashish's eyes snapped open, and she jolted awake, her heart racing. She lay in bed, gasping for breath, as the memory of the nightmare lingered, haunting her.

Morning........next day

She saw time in her phone it was 5 am . She got up and went to washroom for freshen up, later she went to her balcony to perform yoga and meditation which help her to keep her mind calm . Afterwards she takes bath and went to her beloved god for pooja and then have breakfast. While that time she still thinking of nightmare and leaves for her office.

In her cabin she was lost in her thoughts when sudden knock on her door got her out .

"Come in " she said

" Good morning, ma'am someone has come to meet you regarding a new case " he was the Assistant of Kashish, Shivay Alhawat same age as her , calm and charming look .

" Then you take it shiv as you know you need to do a case for your license as a lawyer, professional one right!! now go ahead take it" she said in one go as she was still lost .

" But he saying that only you can fight this case because it's big and he needs professional lawyer not an intern "he replied .

"Mmm, send him " she finally agreed and asked him"Shiv , be here only you will assist me and ask someone to bring two coffee for you and that person and one Ginger tea for me "

Shivay nodded and went to call that person. After few minutes he returns,"Ma'am , he is taking important call and will come just in few minutes I told the receptionist to send him" . Kashish nodded and leaned in her chair.

Kashish sat in her spacious cabin, sipping her tea and reviewing the files on her desk. Her assistant, Shivay, stood by the window, typing away on his phone.

Just then, the intercom buzzed, and Shivay answered, "Yes, ma'am?"

"Rajvardhan Singhania is here to see ma'am," the receptionist's voice crackled over the intercom.

Kashish raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Send him in, Shivay."

Shivay nodded and opened the door, allowing Rajvardhan Singhania to enter. Rajvardhan was a tall, imposing figure in his late 20s, with chiseled features and piercing brown eyes. He exuded an aura of confidence and power.

"Ah, Kashish Kashyap," Rajvardhan said, his deep voice commanding attention. "It's an honor to finally meet you."

Kashish stood up, extending her hand. "The pleasure is mine, Mr. Singhania."

Rajvardhan's handshake was firm, and his eyes locked onto hers, as if sizing her up. "Please, call me Rajvardhan. We're going to be working closely together."

Kashish raised an eyebrow, curious. "Oh? And how can I assist you, Rajvardhan?"

Rajvardhan smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm sure you're aware of the recent scandals surrounding Anirudh Singh Rajawat?"

Kashish's eyes narrowed. "I've heard rumors. But I don't know the details."

Rajvardhan leaned forward, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "Let's just say that Anirudh has been involved in some... unsavory activities. And I have evidence to prove it."

Kashish's eyes widened, intrigued. "What kind of evidence?"

Rajvardhan smiled again, this time revealing a hint of ruthlessness. "The kind that will guarantee a conviction. And I'm willing to pay top dollar for your services, Kashish."

He paused, his eyes locked onto hers. "I'll offer you 10 crores to take on this case. Plus, a bonus of 5 crores if you win."

Kashish's eyes widened, stunned by the offer. She knew that this was a high-stakes case, one that could make or break her career.

Kashish, a renowned criminal lawyer, sat in her office, listening intently as Rajvardhan Singhania laid out the details of the case against Aryan Singh Rajawat.

Rajvardhan's eyes gleamed with intensity as he spoke. "Anirudh is involved in some very serious crimes, Kashish. I have evidence that will prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt."

Kashish's expression remained neutral, her mind racing with the implications. "I see," she said, her voice measured. "And what makes you think I'm the right lawyer for this case?"

Rajvardhan smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I've done my research, Kashish. I know all about your... skills. You're the best criminal lawyer in the business, and I'm willing to pay top dollar for your services."

But she also knew that she couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way. She had to stay focused, stay professional.

"I'll take the case," Kashish said finally, her voice firm.

Rajvardhan smiled, his eyes glinting with triumph. "Excellent," he said, standing up. "I'll have my assistant send over the details. Let's bring Anirudh Singh Rajawat to justice." And left from there .

Kashish nodded, her mind already racing with strategies and tactics. She knew that this was going to be a tough case, but she was ready for the challenge. She started going through some other case files and try to focus on work .

Shivay approached Kashish, concern etched on his face. "Ma'am, are you sure about taking this case? Rajvardhan Singhania is a powerful man, and Anirudh Singh Rajawat's connections run deep. We don't want to risk our reputation or... your safety."

Kashish looked up from the files, her eyes locking onto Shivay's concerned expression. "Shivay, I understand your worries, but we can't turn down a case based on fear. We're lawyers, not politicians. Our job is to uphold the law, not to make friends with the powerful."

She leaned back in her chair, her voice taking on a measured tone. "Besides, I've done my research on Rajvardhan Singhania. He's a ruthless businessman, but he's also a calculated risk-taker. He wouldn't have come to us if he didn't think we could win this case."

" Now , go and try to find some information on Anirudh Singh Rajawat and about his scandals and also dig deeper into the connection of Mr. Singhania and Mr.Rajawat." she added and Shivay still worried hesitantly nodded and sat on the near by couch to do his work.
